Its right foot stands on a pale rock and its left foot grips a fallen log, so it leans forward over the rock with its oversized head turned and tipped up. It has big yellow eyes with black slit pupils under heavy lids, a coral crest ridge above each eye, a row of cream pointed teeth, small forelimbs held up in front of the chest with curled clawed fingers, and three-toed feet with black hooked claws. A row of dark spikes runs from the crown down the spine to the tip of the long curling tail, and the skin has a fine pebbled texture. The renders paint it cool gray with a coral underside and dark slate blotches along the back.
