IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 42 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the ant warrior from a hit Korean-born action-fantasy anime. He stands tall with his feet planted wide, one taloned foot raised on a heap of broken rock, his long clawed arms held out from his sides and a second, smaller pair of arms crossed over his waist. Two thin antennae arc from his brow down to his chest, and a pointed insect mask, split into a pale gray half and a near-black half with a flame wisp licking up one side, covers his face over a glowing pink eye. A translucent pink crystal rises behind his head. His whole body is spiked black exoskeleton armor with glowing magenta seams: a crown of spikes and flame-shaped horns at the collar, stacked spiked shoulder guards, finned gauntlets, scaled thighs and spiked greaves. Four long, narrow pink wings hang from under two plates on his back, and a segmented ant abdomen with a spiked tip sits behind his hips. The base is a round plinth with a sloped dark rim and an insect-head emblem medallion on the front, topped with sandy ground and a ring of magenta flames that rises highest at the back.

What's in the kit

  • 42 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 27 pieces: upper body, hips and thighs, two lower legs with taloned feet, the segmented abdomen, both arms in two sections each, two clawed hands, the mask, the antennae, two spiked shoulder guards, two back plates, two small waist arms, five small insect legs and three small tendril pieces.
  • Wings, 4 pieces.
  • Base, 11 pieces: the round base in two halves, seven flame sections, the emblem medallion and a plug.
  • Studio size: 444.2 mm (17.49 in) tall, 266.1 mm (10.48 in) wide and 305.0 mm (12.01 in) deep, built (from the studio's scale image in the kit files).
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The heavy upper body sits on two narrow lower legs, one of them raised on the rock heap. Pin the feet into the base, the lower legs into the thighs and the thighs into the torso, and let each stage cure before the next.
  • The four wings layer two per side off the back, and each is a long, thin sheet. Dry-fit them before gluing.
  • The base comes in two halves with a seam across the rim and the ground. Fill and sand it before the seven flame sections go on around the edge.
  • Thin parts: the antennae, the five small insect legs, the claws and talons, and the flame tips.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
