IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 6 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the towering, scarred brawler from a popular dark-fantasy sorcery anime. He stands square on a slab of broken road with his feet set wide and claps his hands together at chest height, and a spray of glossy blood bursts out between his palms in thick tendrils with droplet tips. His black hair is slicked back into a high topknot of coiled loops, a large scar covers one side of his forehead and runs down over his eye, and he wears a clenched, toothy grin with blood running from the corners of his mouth. He is bare-chested and heavily muscled, with sculpted veins over his shoulders and forearms, and wears a thick off-white cloth band at the waist, very baggy dark trousers gathered at the ankles, and black slip-on shoes. The base is a rectangle of cracked asphalt with a dashed center line, its edges broken away to show rock and earth.

What's in the kit

  • 6 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 5 pieces: head with the topknot, bare torso, the two arms with the clapped hands and the blood burst, and the legs with the waist band, trousers and shoes.
  • Base, 1 piece: the cracked road slab.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 196.3 mm (7.73 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Road base: 137.4 × 176.5 mm (5.41 × 6.95 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The two arms meet each other at the clap and sit against the chest at the same time. Dry-fit both arms together before any glue goes on.
  • The arm and neck joins land on bare skin, so plan to fill and sand those seams. The torso plugs into the legs at the waist band.
  • It's a big, heavy figure standing on two shoes. Pin the shoes to the base.
  • The blood tendrils around the hands and the coiled loops of the topknot are thin and fragile.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
