Anime Blindfolded White-Haired Sorcerer Bust Resin Garage Kit – Crossed-Finger Hand Sign, Tall Woven Collar & Round Plinth (Unpainted, 5 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 5 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art bust of the blindfolded, white-haired sorcerer-teacher from a popular supernatural action anime. He is cut off at mid-chest and turns his head slightly toward his raised right hand, which is held up beside his face with the index and middle fingers crossed and pointing up. A wide mesh blindfold wraps around his head over the eyes, his hair bursts up above it in a crown of flame-shaped spikes and is cropped short at the back, and he smiles easily with his lips just parted. He wears a boxy uniform jacket sculpted all over in a coarse woven texture, with a very tall rolled standing collar up to his chin, a placket down the front and a wide sleeve pushed back to bare the forearm. The bust sits on a tapered post on a round plinth with a raised rim and pointed buttress blocks.
What's in the kit
- 5 resin pieces in total.
- Bust, 4 pieces: the torso with the tall collar, the raised hand with forearm, the blindfolded head and the spiked hair crown.
- Base, 1 piece: the post and round plinth.
- Studio size: 1:6 scale, 147 mm (5.79 in) tall, 103 mm (4.06 in) wide and 90 mm (3.54 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The hair crown is dozens of thin flame-shaped spikes that sit on top of the blindfold band. Handle it by the base of the crown and fit it last.
- The raised hand joins at the sleeve; the two crossed fingers are thin and stand clear of the head. Pin the wrist.
- The jacket and collar are covered in a woven texture and the blindfold in a fine mesh, so seams there won't sand smooth without losing texture. Fill carefully and keep sanding to the seam.
- The torso sits on a narrow post over the plinth. Glue and let it set before adding the head and hand.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
