IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 30 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the blond, suit-wearing fighting chef of a famous anime pirate crew, caught upside down in the middle of a spinning kick. He is planted on one foot on a slab of broken rock with his body folded over so his head hangs near the base, his other leg swung straight up overhead inside a tall column of flame. One gloved fist reaches down toward the rocks and the other arm is thrown out behind him, and his jacket has flown open with the tails flaring out. He wears a pinstripe suit with gold buttons on the front and cuffs, a dark vest with a row of gold buttons, a belt with a square buckle, a white collar with a loose white tie, black gloves and black shoes. His blond hair falls away from his face, which shows a shout with a cigarette in the corner of the mouth and a curled eyebrow. Curved, tapering flame arcs swirl around him from the base to shoulder height. In the studio's painted design the suit is deep wine red, the flames a pale blue-white, and some of the larger arcs a smoky warm grey. What's in the kit

  • 30 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, torso with the vest, belt, collar and tie, two arms, the kicking leg and the planted leg with the hips.
  • Coat, 2 pieces: the two jacket tails.
  • Effects, 16 pieces: the flame column around the kicking leg in three sections, a small wisp, a thin flame tongue and eleven curved arc sections.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the broken rock slab in four sections.
  • 1:10 scale: 256 mm (10.08 in) tall, 247 × 198 mm (9.72 × 7.80 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • He balances on one planted foot with the whole figure folded over above it. Pin the planted leg firmly into the rock base; the kicking leg and the flame column around it add a lot of weight overhead.
  • The flame column comes in three sections that wrap the kicking leg. Dry-fit all three around the leg before gluing any of them.
  • Sixteen effect pieces go around the figure and the file names don't say where. Lay them out against the photos and add them in order from the base up.
  • Thin parts: the flame tips, the tie ends, the cigarette, the jacket tails and the front hair.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
