IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total. Both face styles and the vest-off parts are in the box.
  • Shared figure parts, 6 pieces: the legs, two boots, the left hand, the right hand and the energy ball.
  • Vest-on upper body, 6 pieces: two torsos in the denim vest (one to match each face style), the realistic head, the classic anime head and two arms.
  • Vest-off upper body, 5 pieces: the torso in the black ribbed top, a realistic head and a classic anime head cut to fit it, and two arms.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the broken-concrete base and plinth in four sections.
  • Studio size: 1:6 scale, 321 mm (12.64 in) tall, 178 mm (7.01 in) wide and 210 mm (8.27 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Her right arm, hand and the energy ball reach straight out from the shoulder. Pin the shoulder and the wrist.
  • The whole figure stands on the two boots on uneven rubble. Pin the boots to the legs and into the base.
  • The base comes in four sections. Dry-fit them before gluing so the boots land in the right places.
  • A glaze over the energy ball gives it a glow. The splayed fingers, the loose hair strands and the rebar rods are thin.
  • Every head, torso and arm set is in the kit. In the vest build each face style has its own torso, and the vest-off build has its own heads and arms, so sort the parts by build before you start; the rest stay as spares.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
