IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 21 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the cheerful blonde agent from a recent action anime. She stands on a floor of wooden planks beside a short section of fence, one hand resting flat on the top rail and the other a fist on her hip. Her weight is on one leg, with the other crossed in front of it and the loafer tipped up on its toe. She smiles with her mouth open and turns her head a little toward the viewer. Her pale blonde bob has a full fringe and a small ribbon clip on one side. She wears a long-sleeved red coat dress with a pale gray front panel, a double row of small gold buttons and a red belt with a square gold buckle, under a cropped red jacket with white-edged cuffs, plus a white collar with a blue neck bow, dark knee socks and brown loafers. A small backpack on leather straps with gold buckles sits on her back. The fence has a corner post, a top rail, three pickets with pointed arches at mid-height and a bottom rail.

What's in the kit

  • 21 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 13 pieces: head, fringe, back hair, the torso of the dress with its belt and buttons, the hip section under the skirt, two arms, two hands (an open hand for the rail and a closed fist), two legs and two loafers.
  • Clothing and accessories, 6 pieces: the cropped jacket, the skirt of the dress, the collar, the neck bow, a small hair-ribbon loop and the backpack with its straps.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the plank floor and the fence section with its top and bottom rails.
  • Tallest single piece: the fence section, 122.1 mm (4.81 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Plank floor: 108.8 × 126.4 mm (4.28 × 4.98 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Glue the fence into its sockets in the plank floor first. Her open hand rests on the top rail, so the fence has to be fixed before you set the arm that reaches to it.
  • She stands on one loafer, with the other leg crossed in front and that loafer resting on its toe. The floor has sockets for both shoes; pin the standing leg into the floor as well.
  • The backpack and its straps are a single piece that wraps over both shoulders. Dry-fit it over the jacket before gluing.
  • Small, thin parts: the neck bow, the collar, the hair-ribbon loop and the fingers of the open hand.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
