IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 15 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

She stands square to the viewer with her weight on both feet, one hand on her hip with the fingers spread and the other fist raised beside her head, while a breeze flares her long coat out behind her. She has blonde hair parted in the middle with long bangs, tied into two low tails at the back, amber eyes, a small diamond mark on her forehead and a closed-mouth half smile. She wears an open olive-green coat with wide sleeves and a darker band along the edges, a cream wrap top with a grey-tan collar band, a purple-grey sash wrapped and knotted at the front, black cropped trousers and open-toed sandals, with a thin cord necklace and a pale green crystal pendant. The base is a round slab of cracked, mossy flagstones with a stepped stone edge, a broken stone wall carved with a single kanji character, a slab of fallen roof tiles and a small round-bodied snail with a striped shell.

What's in the kit

  • 15 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head, hair in two pieces, torso, two arms, both legs in a single piece and two lower legs with sandals.
  • Coat, 2 pieces: the open coat in two halves.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the round flagstone base, the broken wall section, the fallen roof-tile slab and the snail.
  • Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 135.7 mm (5.34 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Round base: 157.1 × 155.7 mm (6.19 × 6.13 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The two coat halves wrap the torso and meet at the back seam and collar, on a visible surface. Plan to fill and sand that seam.
  • The raised fist is an arm held up off the body with only the shoulder joint carrying it. Pin it.
  • The wall, roof tiles and snail each sit on the base separately. Dry-fit them against the first photo before glue.
  • The bang tips, the snail's antennae and the sandal straps are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
