IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 8 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the blood-wielding eldest brother from a popular dark-fantasy sorcery anime. He sinks into a deep, wide stance with his arms stretched straight out in front and his fingers laced together, and a long barbed arrow made of blood shoots forward out of his hands while blood drips from his fingers. His black hair is parted in the middle, with loose strands over his forehead and two short spiky tufts tied up on top, and a blood-red line crosses his face over the bridge of his nose. He wears a high purple collar, a sleeveless purple vest quilted in vertical channels over a white shirt with wide flared cuffs, a purple sash with a hanging flap, very baggy white trousers gathered over white socks, and brown ankle boots. The base is an irregular slab of cracked stone floor tiles with a winding dark teal puddle, a metal drain grate splashed with blood, scattered blood drops, and a small cracked disc with two glowing green lights.

What's in the kit

  • 8 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 6 pieces: torso with both arms, the vest and the sash, two legs, head, a small hair piece, and the clasped hands with the blood arrow.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the tiled floor slab in two halves.
  • Tallest single piece: the right leg, 183.7 mm (7.23 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Floor base: 196.3 × 192.4 mm (7.73 × 7.57 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
  • The clasped hands with the blood arrow are 159.0 mm (6.26 in) long in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The hands and the arrow come as one long piece that is held out at arm's length. Pin it at the wrists.
  • The torso sits on the two legs and the whole figure stands on two boot soles. Pin the legs to the torso and the boots to the base.
  • The base comes in two halves with one seam across the tiles. Fill and sand it, or let it follow a tile line.
  • The small hair piece is very thin. Glue it on last, with tweezers.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
