Anime Boar-Masked Swordsman Resin Garage Kit – Twin Jagged Swords, Blade-Slash Effects & Octagonal Stone Base, Masked and Unmasked Heads Included (Unpainted, 27 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 27 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the boar-masked swordsman from a hit demon-hunting anime. He stands square on a plank deck with his feet planted wide, his right hand lifting a saw-edged sword across his shoulders behind his head and his left hand holding a second jagged sword low across his legs. He wears the character's own outfit: the boar-head mask in gray fur with a pink snout and ears, white tusks and glowing ringed eyes, no shirt, a shaggy brown fur pelt at the waist, baggy dark navy trousers gathered at the calf, dark fur wraps on his shins, and bare feet. Five sweeping blade-slash effects in glassy blue rise around him, a ring of white smoke curls over the deck, and a magenta cloth with a black geometric pattern and gold bands lies crumpled under his feet. The base is a stepped octagonal plinth in dark veined stone with gold corner brackets. Both heads are in the box, so you can swap them as you like: the boar mask, or his bare face with chin-length black hair fading to blue at the tips and large green eyes.
What's in the kit
- 27 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 12 pieces: the boar-mask head, the bare head with its separate front hair piece, torso, two arms, the fur pelt, the trousers, two lower legs with feet and the two swords.
- Base, 15 pieces: the octagonal plinth and plank deck in six sections, five blade-slash effects, two smoke swirls and two pieces of the patterned cloth.
- Studio size: 1:6 scale, 355 mm (13.98 in) tall, 243 mm (9.57 in) wide and 253 mm (9.96 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Build the base first. The plinth and plank deck come in six heavy sections; glue them square and let them set before anything goes on top.
- The five blade-slash effects and two smoke swirls are thin, curling shells that stand on small contact points around him. Dry-fit them against the photos and pin the tall ones.
- The raised right arm holds a long blade out behind his head. Pin the shoulder join. Pin the neck without glue if you want to swap between the mask and the bare head; the bare head takes its separate front hair piece.
- Both swords are very thin, saw-edged blades. Pin them into the hands and fit them last.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
