IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 13 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the gambling, gun-slinging bounty hunter from a classic space-western anime. She draws on something off to one side: her right arm straight out at shoulder height with a pistol in hand, her left arm low and away from her body with the fingers spread, and her head turned toward the gun. She stands on one leg with the boot planted on the pavement and props the other boot on top of a dented, ribbed trash can tipped against her shin, its lid knocked askew over a pile of garbage. She has a short bob with a headband and a fringe swept to one side. She wears a cropped jacket pushed down off both shoulders with the sleeves bunched at the forearms, a shirt tied in a knot at the front, short shorts with suspender straps, thigh-high stockings with rolled tops, and heeled ankle boots with slouched socks over them. The base is a round disc of cracked pavement with scattered debris and a dropped bottle. This listing is the full kit at 1:10 scale. The single-piece miniature is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 13 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head and upper torso, hips with the shorts, the jacket with the hanging arm, the hand with the pistol, the spread hand, two legs and two boots.
  • Scene, 4 pieces: the pavement base, the trash can, its lid and the bottle.
  • 1:10 scale: tallest single piece, the trash can, 69.9 mm (2.75 in) in the sculptor's file. The round base is 78.7 × 78.7 mm (3.10 × 3.10 in) across in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height for this version, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She stands on one leg. That leg and boot carry everything above them into the base, so pin the ankle and the thigh.
  • Fit the trash can to the base first: the raised boot only lands right if the can sits where the sculptor put it.
  • The pistol hand is a long, thin piece that reaches straight out from the shoulder; pin it. The spread fingers on the other hand are fragile.
  • The thigh joins land on smooth skin; plan to fill and sand them.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
