Chibi Auburn-Haired Girl Resin Garage Kit – Pink Sweater, Disc Earrings, Hand on Hip & Flagstone Base (Unpainted, 6 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 6 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the auburn-haired heroine from a recent supernatural comedy anime. She stands with her feet apart on a round stone base, her left hand on her hip with the elbow out and her right arm down at her side, and gives a sidelong, confident smirk from under lowered brows. Her auburn bob is sculpted in long grooved strands, with a fringe that sweeps across her forehead to one side and a couple of strands standing up at the crown, and she wears large flat disc earrings. Her school outfit is a loose pink knit sweater with ribbed cuffs and hem over a white collar and a red ribbon bow, a blue pleated skirt, slouched white socks and brown loafers. The base is a disc of gray flagstones on a black stepped plinth, with a small gold ball lying by her shoe.
What's in the kit
- 6 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 4 pieces: the head, the swept fringe, the torso in the sweater and the legs.
- Base, 2 pieces: the round flagstone base and the small gold ball.
- Studio size: 107 mm (4.21 in) tall, 50 mm (1.97 in) wide and 54 mm (2.13 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' notes for this model).
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The head is most of the figure and sits on a single neck join. A pin there is worth it.
- The fringe is a separate piece that sweeps across the forehead. Dry-fit it on the head before gluing.
- The disc earrings and the fringe tips are the thin parts. Take the supports off them gently.
- The gold ball is tiny. Handle it with tweezers and glue it by her shoe last.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
