Chibi Blue-Haired Brawler Resin Garage Kit – Bone Jaw Mask, Hands in Pockets, Sand Crater Base with Broken Pillar & Smoke (Unpainted, 14 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 14 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the blue-haired, panther-like brawler from a long-running sword-fighting anime. He stands square to the front with his feet apart and both hands pushed into his pockets, head tipped forward, grinning through clenched teeth with his eyes cut to one side. His sky-blue hair sweeps up and back into layers of spikes, with teal markings under his eyes and a bone-white jawbone mask fragment, with its own row of teeth, on his right cheek. He wears a cropped white jacket open over a sculpted bare chest and stomach with a round hole in it, a tall stand collar lined in black, black cuffs, a black sash, wide pleated white hakama trousers and black shoes, with a sheathed katana pushed through the sash at his hip. The base is a crater of gritty sand ringed by jagged dark rock slabs over a splash of sand, with white smoke rising around his feet and a broken red pillar leaning behind him.
What's in the kit
- 14 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 6 pieces: the head with most of the hair, a separate front hair section, the torso, two arms and the legs with shoes.
- Accessories, 2 pieces: the bone jaw mask for his cheek and the sheathed katana.
- Base, 6 pieces: the crater base in two halves, the broken pillar and three smoke pieces.
- Tallest single piece: the legs, 65.9 mm (2.59 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- Crater base: 91.0 × 87.2 mm (3.58 × 3.43 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The head is more than half the figure's resin on a small torso. Pin the neck, and pin the legs into the base.
- The jaw mask is a small, thin piece with a row of tiny teeth that glues onto the face. The sheathed katana is long and very thin and threads through the sash; dry-fit it with the left arm before gluing either.
- The arm joins likely sit at the shoulders on smooth white cloth, where seams show under pale paint.
- The crater base comes in two halves, with one seam through the sand and the rock ring. Place the pillar and smoke from the renders; there is no layout sheet.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
