IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 29 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the famous martial-arts anime hero in his long-haired golden power-up form, wearing the halo from his day back from the afterlife. He drops into a low, wide stance with his knees bent and leans forward, his right fist held out at chest height and his left fist pulled down by his hip, glaring out from under a heavy brow with green eyes. His golden hair is a huge mass of long spikes that sweeps up off the forehead and runs down his back to hip level, and a thin gold halo floats above it at a tilt. He wears an orange sleeveless gi top with a crossed front over a blue undershirt, a wide blue sash, baggy orange gi pants, blue wristbands, and dark boots with a red stripe and rope ties at the ankles. The base is a round rock plinth with layered cliff faces, a grass top and a dirt path. A broken ring of gray dust swirls around the rim, translucent yellow aura blades fan out from under it, and blue lightning bolts crackle up around him.

What's in the kit

  • 29 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: the golden mane, a small separate hair lock, the head, the torso, the legs, two arms and two boots.
  • Halo, 1 piece: the floating gold halo.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the grass-topped rock plinth in two halves.
  • Effects, 17 pieces: four dust swirl sections and thirteen aura and lightning pieces.
  • Tallest single piece: the golden mane, 83.3 mm (3.28 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Rock base: 108.6 × 98.8 mm (4.28 × 3.89 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base. The dust and aura reach out past it.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The mane is the heaviest figure piece and trails out behind him, and the figure stands on two boots. Pin the hair to the head and both ankles into the base.
  • The halo floats above the hair in every render with no visible mount. Plan on a clear rod or wire to hold it.
  • Seventeen dust, aura and lightning pieces go around the base with no layout sheet; place them from the renders and dry-fit the dust ring before gluing. The aura blades and lightning bolts are thin with small contact points.
  • The rock base comes in two halves, with one seam across the grass top to fill.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
