IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 24 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 24 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 11 pieces: the head with both horns, the glossy head dome, the armored torso, the legs, two arms, two small arm gems, two clawed feet with shin guards, and the tail.
  • Accessories, 2 pieces: the energy ball and the orange star ball.
  • Base, 11 pieces: the rock in two pieces, five trees and four water splashes.
  • Tallest single piece: a water splash, 54.1 mm (2.13 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • The head with its horns is 96.9 mm (3.81 in) wide in the sculptor's file.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The head and dome are more than half the figure's resin on a narrow neck, and the whole figure stands on two small feet. Pin the neck and both feet into the rock.
  • The energy ball is tiny and glues to a single raised fingertip, a very small contact point.
  • The two rock pieces, five trees and four water splashes go together around the base with no layout sheet, and the studio shows only one front render. Dry-fit everything before gluing.
  • The water splashes are thin sheets with pointed tips, the tree stalks are thin, and the horns taper to points.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
