Chibi Pale Snake Sorcerer Resin Garage Kit – Long Tongue, Snake-Coiled Arms, Purple Rope Bow & Rocky Base (Unpainted, 16 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 16 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the pale snake-summoning villain from a long-running ninja anime. He crouches low in a wide stance on a rocky base, head cocked, with one arm thrust out at shoulder height, fingers curled like a claw, while a green snake coils around that forearm and rears open-jawed past his fingertips. Two more snakes wind down his other, hanging arm toward the rocks. He has pale white skin, narrowed yellow eyes with slit pupils, lilac markings around the eyes, a toothy grin and a long red tongue hanging nearly to his chest, with long straight black hair blown back to one side. He wears a cream wrap robe with elbow-length sleeves and long hanging panels over a dark gray undershirt, a lilac twisted rope belt tied in a big two-loop rope bow at the small of his back, loose indigo trousers gathered below the knee, bandaged shins and black sandals. The base is a slab of dusty taupe rock with raised amber boulders, and a knot of small dark-green snakes crawls across it between his feet.
What's in the kit
- 16 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: the face, the front hair, the back hair, the tongue, the robed torso, the crouched legs, two arms and the rope belt.
- Snakes, 6 pieces: the snake on the outstretched arm in two sections and the two snakes on the hanging arm in four sections.
- Base, 1 piece: the rocky base with its small snakes.
- Height: 130.9 mm (5.15 in) tall on its base, measured from the sculptor's single-piece file of the finished figure.
- Tallest single piece: the legs, 71.2 mm (2.80 in) in the sculptor's file.
- Rocky base: 96.9 × 89.1 mm (3.81 × 3.51 in) across in the sculptor's file. The outstretched arm and the rope bow reach past it on both sides.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The back hair is the heaviest figure part and hangs back off the head. Pin it, and expect to fill the hair seam over the crown on smooth black hair.
- The outstretched arm is a long lever on a small shoulder join with a snake around it. Pin it.
- The tongue and the six snake sections are small and thin; the smallest snake section is only a few millimeters. Dry-fit the hanging arm's snakes against the base before gluing.
- The face, eyes and tongue sit behind the bangs and the outstretched arm, so paint them before assembly.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
