IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 3 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the little pink-haired girl from a popular anime comedy. She stands square to the front with her feet apart and both fists pressed to her hips, grinning with her mouth wide open. Her pink bob flips out at the ends, with a pointed fringe and a single upturned lock on the crown, and two black cone-shaped hair ornaments with gold scalloped rims sit high on each side of her head. Her eyes are large and green. She wears a long-sleeved black uniform dress that flares to just above the knee, with a white collar, a small red ribbon, an orange-gold edged yoke, gold buttons, dotted gold lines down the front and back, wide gold cuffs and a broad gold hem band, with white knee socks and black strap shoes. She stands on a plain round black base.

What's in the kit

  • 3 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 2 pieces: the head with the hair and both hair ornaments, and the body with the dress, arms and legs.
  • Base, 1 piece: the plain round base.
  • Studio size: 117 mm (4.61 in) tall, 59 mm (2.32 in) wide and 56 mm (2.20 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The head is much heavier than the body and sits on a short neck. Pin the neck, and pin at least one shoe into the base.
  • The upturned lock on the crown and the tips of the two hair ornaments are the thinnest points. Clip their supports slowly.
  • The gold cuffs, hem band and buttons are sculpted, so a fine brush picks them out against the black dress.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
