Chibi Golden-Haired Young Fighter Resin Garage Kit – Purple Gi, Red Sash, Aura Wisps & Grassy Rock Base, Both Heads and Cape Included (Unpainted, 20 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the young son of the hero from a famous martial-arts anime, in his golden-haired powered-up form. He stands square with his feet planted apart and both fists clenched at his sides, the left one gripping a small brown drawstring pouch, and glares out from under his brows with teal eyes and a frown. He wears a purple sleeveless gi top that wraps into a V, a red sash at the waist, baggy purple gi pants gathered above the ankles, ridged blue wristbands and brown boots with rolled cuffs. Both looks are in the box, so you can build either one and swap heads as you like. One head has tall upswept golden spikes with a single long lock falling over one brow. The other has shorter spikes with several bangs over the forehead. The white cape, with a high collar bunched under the chin and squared shoulder pads, is in the box too; the studio shows it with the shorter hair. The base is an oval of cracked orange-brown rock with green grass tufts, with cream aura wisps curling up around it.
What's in the kit
- 20 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: the gi top, the gi pants, the neck, two arms, two fists with one holding the pouch, and two boots.
- Heads, 4 pieces: two faces, each with its own hair, the tall spiky hair with the long lock and the shorter spiky hair with bangs.
- Cape, 1 piece: the white cape with the high collar.
- Base, 2 pieces: the grassy rock base in two halves.
- Aura, 4 pieces: four aura wisps.
- Tallest single piece: the cape, 56.0 mm (2.20 in) in the sculptor's file; the tall spiky hair is 50.1 mm (1.97 in). The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- Rock base: two halves, 71.8 × 60.7 mm (2.83 × 2.39 in) and 66.6 × 56.9 mm (2.62 × 2.24 in) across in the sculptor's files.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The head and hair are much heavier than the small body below them. Pin the head through the neck into the torso (leave it unglued if you want to swap heads) and both boots into the rock.
- The hands, arms and boots are small pieces, and the pouch hangs just under one fist.
- The aura wisps are thin, forked flame shapes with small contact points. Fit them last.
- The cape is a thin curved shell whose collar wraps the neck; dry-fit it with the head and arms before gluing.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
