Chibi Twin-Blade Soldier Resin Garage Kit – Red Scarf, Hip Blade Cases & Broken Rooftop with Chimney and Smoke (Unpainted, 20 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the black-haired soldier with the red scarf from a famous dark-fantasy anime about walled cities and giants, caught mid-move on a broken rooftop. One boot is planted on the ridge tiles and the other knee is pulled up high. Her right arm sweeps a long steel blade out low to the side and her left arm is raised with a second blade angled up behind her head, while she shouts toward you. She has a near-black chin-length bob with long swept-back locks, large yellow-green eyes and a pink blush. She wears a bright red scarf wrapped at the neck with two tails streaming out to one side, a cropped tan-brown jacket with chest pockets, round shoulder patches and a wings emblem on the back, a white shirt, dark maroon leather harness straps and belt, a maroon hip wrap, white trousers with thigh straps and knee-high oxblood boots. A long ribbed blade case hangs on each hip, with cables running from the sword grips back to reels on her belt. Under her is a section of pitched roof with ochre barrel tiles, a broken end showing wooden beams, a cracked brick chimney with a hollow top and pale gray smoke surging up all around.
What's in the kit
- 20 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 11 pieces: the hair, the face, the shirt torso, the trousers with hip wrap, the jacket body, two jacket sleeves, two hands with sword grips and blades, and two boots.
- Gear and scarf, 5 pieces: two hip blade cases, the scarf wrap and two scarf tails.
- Base, 4 pieces: the rooftop section, the brick chimney and the smoke in two pieces.
- Tallest single piece: the hair, 63.5 mm (2.50 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- Smoke base: 98.0 × 98.9 mm (3.86 × 3.89 in) across, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same smoke. The low blade reaches past its edge.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The whole figure stands on one planted boot on a sloped tile ridge. Pin the boot to the leg and again into the roof.
- Both blades are long and thin and held out from the body, and the two scarf tails are thin, light pieces. Attach them last.
- The scarf tails meet the neck wrap on smooth red fabric, so expect to fill and sand those joins.
- Roof, chimney and the two smoke pieces wrap around each other and the planted boot. Dry-fit the scene before gluing; the smoke comes in two pieces with one seam through the cloud forms.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
