IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 8 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

Her hair is tied in two round buns, each capped with a red gem, and two very long twin-tails sweep out to either side and down past the moon, dotted with gold stars and diamonds. A gold tiara with a red gem sits on her forehead and gold earrings hang from her ears. She wears her heroine's uniform: a white top with a navy collar, a big red bow with a round gold brooch, white elbow gloves with red bands, a short navy pleated skirt and red knee boots. What's in the kit

  • 8 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 5 pieces: head with the tiara and earrings, fringe, the seated body, and the two twin-tails with their buns.
  • Cat, 1 piece: the walking cat.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the crescent moon with its clouds and stars, and the brooch pedestal with the lower cloud and disc.
  • Studio size: 85 mm (3.35 in) tall, 43 mm (1.69 in) wide and 61 mm (2.40 in) long (from the studio's scale sheet).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • Each twin-tail is a long, curved piece that hangs off a small join at the bun. Pin both, or prop the figure while slow-set glue cures.
  • The crescent moon carries the whole figure and fits into the top of the brooch pedestal. Dry-fit that join before gluing.
  • Thin parts: the fringe, the cat's whiskers and tail, the crescent tips and the small stars on the hair and moon.
  • There are a lot of small gold details (stars, diamonds, brooch, tiara, earrings), so a good gold paint and a fine brush do most of the work.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
