IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 17 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the cheerful, flame-haired swordsman from a hugely popular demon-hunting anime. He stands square to the viewer with his feet planted and knees slightly bent, his right arm raised across his chest with the hilt in his fist and his left hand low at the guard, mid-draw, with a single flame curling up off the blade. His hair is a mane of long yellow spikes tipped in red, flaring wider than his shoulders, with dark flame-shaped brows over large yellow-and-orange eyes and a wide grin. He wears a dark uniform jacket with a stand collar, five round buttons, a small white chest patch and white cuffs, baggy dark trousers with a white belt, yellow leg wraps with a red flame pattern, white socks and sandals, and a long white cape that grades to yellow and ends in red flame-shaped tails below the knees. A scabbard with a diamond pattern hangs at his left hip. The round base has a wood-grain top and a dark wall with a gold flame band and a round emblem carrying the fire symbol, and four separate translucent flame pieces stand around his feet. What's in the kit

  • 17 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 11 pieces: head, torso, legs, two arms, two hands with the sword, two lower legs with the wraps and sandals, the cape and the scabbard.
  • Base, 6 pieces: the round base, four flame pieces and the round emblem for the base wall.
  • Studio size, full figure: 325.6 mm (12.82 in) tall, 215.4 × 208.6 mm (8.48 × 8.21 in) across (from Lion Realm's scale sheet).
  • Full figure base: 185.0 × 184.9 mm (7.28 × 7.28 in) across in the sculptor's file. The cape tails and flames reach past it.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The cape is a large, thin shell that hangs from the shoulders and only touches the figure along the shoulders and upper back. Dry-fit it and glue it after the torso and arms.
  • The four flame pieces stand on their own around the feet. Glaze them for a glow.
  • The scabbard is long and thin on a small contact patch at the hip. Pin it.
  • Thin parts: the hair spikes, the flame tips, the cape tails and the sandal straps.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
