Anime Flame-Haired Swordsman Bust Resin Garage Kit – Sword Draw, Spiked Mane & Cracked-Stone Pedestal (Unpainted, 7 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 7 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art bust of the cheerful, flame-haired swordsman from a hugely popular demon-hunting anime, cut at the ribs. It keeps his head with the mane of long spikes flaring wider than his shoulders and a wide grin, his uniform jacket with its stand collar, round buttons and small chest patch, and both arms in the drawing pose: one hand raised across his chest on the hilt and the other low at the guard, with a small flame curling off the blade. The bust stands on a round cracked-stone pedestal. The full figure is sold as a separate listing.
What's in the kit
- 7 resin pieces in total.
- Bust, 6 pieces: head, a bust torso cut at the ribs, two arms and two hands with the sword.
- Pedestal, 1 piece: the round cracked-stone pedestal.
- Bust: the sculptor doesn't publish a size. Its tallest single piece is the bust torso, 78.3 mm (3.08 in), and its pedestal is 76.4 × 76.2 mm (3.01 × 3.00 in) across, in the sculptor's files.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Both hands hold the sword across the body mid-draw. Dry-fit the arms and both hands together before gluing any of them.
- The spiked hair flares wider than the shoulders. Pin the head at the neck.
- Thin parts: the hair spikes and the small flame on the blade.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
