IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 22 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the giant bear warrior summoned from the shadows in a hit Korean fantasy series. He stands upright on his hind legs with his feet set apart, arms hanging at his sides with long claws pointed at the ground, head pushed forward between heavy shoulders in a snarl, with two long tusks rising from the lower jaw and scar marks through one brow. His fur is sculpted as layered pointed tufts. Glowing flames run all over him: a crest rising from his brow, a jagged flame X across the chest in raised relief, curling tendrils over both shoulders, fire wrapped around both forearms and fists, a ridge of flame down his spine, and curved blades sweeping back from the elbows and shoulder blades. The base is a round black plinth with a bear-head emblem on the front, topped with broken rock, flames rising around his feet and a swirl of flame round the back. The studio shows him painted in magenta and in electric blue. This listing is the full figure on its plinth, 22 pieces. The bust is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 22 resin pieces in total.
  • Body, 10 pieces: the chest with the head and crest in two halves, the belly and hips in two halves, both arms with the flaming fists, both lower legs, and two flame-blade pieces for the back.
  • Base, 12 pieces: the plinth in two halves, the rock ground in two halves, five flame pieces, the emblem and two plugs.
  • Studio size, full figure: 409 mm (16.10 in) tall, 275 × 277 mm (10.83 × 10.91 in) (from the studio's store page for this model).
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • This is a heavy kit. The chest, belly, plinth and rock ground are large parts. I print them hollow, so fill the small drain holes before priming.
  • Pin the lower legs into the base and the arms at the shoulders; the arms hang heavy off the body.
  • Thin parts: the flame tips, the elbow blades, the claws and the small emblem.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
