Anime Warrior Monk Resin Garage Kit – Spiked Flail on a Chain, Raised Hand Axe & Thorn Vine Rubble Base (Unpainted, 1:10 Scale, 36 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 36 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the towering, blind warrior monk from a hugely popular demon-hunting anime, caught mid-swing. He braces wide on a wrecked rooftop, one foot forward on a run of broken ridge tiles and the other leg bent back, his torso twisted toward the viewer. One arm is raised overhead gripping a short-hafted hand axe with an engraved blade; the other is thrust forward, palm open and fingers spread, with two loops of red prayer beads hanging from the hand. A heavy chain runs from the axe around behind him and across the front to a spiked iron ball, so the flail circles the whole figure. His spiky black hair is swept back, a scar crosses his forehead, his eyes are blank white and his teeth are bared. He wears a dark uniform with a woven texture and a single gold button, a white belt, wide trousers gathered into white leg wraps and thong sandals, under an olive-green haori with a white lining, white edging and square patches on the sleeves. The base is brown rock rubble with gray roof tiles and round tile caps, a splintered timber beam, crimson thorn vines that curl up through the scene and white slash effects that rise in ragged sweeps along the arc of the chain. This listing is the 1:10 scale statue in 36 pieces. The miniature and the bust are sold as separate listings.
What's in the kit
- 36 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 7 pieces: head, torso, two arms (one holding the axe), legs with leg wraps and sandals, and two prayer-bead loops.
- Haori, 4 pieces: two body sections and two sleeves.
- Flail, 7 pieces: the spiked ball, the chain in four sections and two small spikes.
- Effects, 5 pieces: the white slash effects.
- Base, 13 pieces: the rubble and roof base in six sections and seven thorn vines.
- 1:10 scale: 242 mm (9.53 in) tall, 180 mm (7.09 in) wide and 187 mm (7.36 in) long (from the studio's scale sheet).
- Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Build the base first: the six rubble sections, then the seven thorn vines and five slash effects that plug into it. Dry-fit the figure's feet on the base before gluing any of it.
- The chain comes in four long, thin sections that run from the axe around the figure to the heavy spiked ball. Pin the ball and both chain ends.
- Thin, fragile parts: the thorn vines, the edges of the slash effects, the chain, the two prayer-bead loops and the two small spikes.
- The two haori body sections meet on a large smooth cloth surface. Plan to fill and sand that seam.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
