IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the towering, gold-armored fighter from a hit Korean web-novel and anime series. He walks slowly toward the viewer, right foot planted and left heel lifted, arms hanging out from his sides with clawed hands half open. His armor is warm gold plate whose edges break into blade and flame points: a V-layered chest, stacked spiked shoulder plates, angular gauntlets with five long talons on each hand, spiked thigh plates and clawed armored feet. The base is a round plinth of rough dark stone between gold rings, with an emblem disc on the front, topped with a cracked slab of dark red rock, broken chunks around the rim and pale smoke curling up around the edge. Every build is in the box, so you can put him together any way you like and swap later: a beast-like gold helmet with dark swept-back blades and glowing eyes under a huge white flame mane; two unmasked heads with long spiky yellow hair, heavy brows and a pointed goatee, one with dark sunglasses and one without; and a battle-damaged upper body with the armor broken away from his left shoulder, chest and arm, its own left gauntlet and armored right arm, and a half-helmet head with the white flame mane behind.

What's in the kit

  • 20 resin pieces in total. Every head and both upper bodies are in the box, so you can build any of the four looks and swap them as you like.
  • Legs and right hand, 4 pieces: hips and thighs, two lower legs with clawed feet, and the right gauntlet hand (used in every build).
  • Full-armor upper body, 4 pieces: the armored torso, two upper arms with spiked shoulder plates, and the left gauntlet hand.
  • Helmeted head, 2 pieces: the helmet faceplate and the white flame mane.
  • Unmasked heads, 2 pieces: long yellow hair and goatee, one with dark sunglasses and one bare-faced.
  • Battle-damaged parts, 5 pieces: the torso with the broken armor and the bare left shoulder and upper arm, the armored right upper arm, its own left gauntlet hand, the half-helmet head and its white flame mane.
  • Base, 3 pieces: the round rock-and-smoke base in two sections and the emblem disc for the front.
  • Studio size, helmeted build: 450.2 mm (17.72 in) tall, 214.4 mm (8.44 in) wide and 245.4 mm (9.66 in) deep on its base (from Lion Realm's scale image of the model at 100%). The studio doesn't publish a size for the other builds, which stand on the same base, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Everything above the knees rides on the two lower legs, and the forward right leg carries most of it. Pin both knees and pin the feet into the base.
  • The flame mane is a large piece that sits high on the back of the head. Pin it. There are two manes, each shaped where it meets its own head: one goes with the full helmet and one with the half-helmet.
  • The base comes in two sections. Glue and fill that seam before the figure goes on.
  • The talons on the hands and feet, the helmet blades and the smoke tips are thin points. On the battle-damaged build, the join where the gauntlet meets the bare arm needs filling and blending.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
