IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 9 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

His right arm is raised straight up with one finger pointing at the sky, and his head is tilted up with the chin out. He has swept-back hair and a short curled mustache. His plate armor is sculpted with scratches and dents: a high collar of radiating plates, fan-shaped chest plates and stacked plates at the waist, with chainmail sleeves and big dished shoulder guards. His lowered left arm ends at the forearm guard. The bust sits on a round cracked-stone base. The full figure is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 9 resin pieces in total.
  • Bust, 8 pieces: head, the bust torso, two arms, the pointing hand, the end of the lowered forearm and two shoulder guards.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round cracked-stone bust base.
  • Bust: the studio publishes no size for it. Its tallest single piece is the bust torso, 132.5 mm (5.22 in), and the round bust base is 121.8 × 121.4 mm (4.80 × 4.78 in) across in the sculptor's files.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The raised arm and pointing hand stand well above the head. Pin the arm into the shoulder under the guard and the hand onto the forearm.
  • The two big shoulder guards sit over the arms. Dry-fit them with the arms in place before gluing.
  • Thin parts: the pointing finger, the mustache and the edges of the collar plates.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
