IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 35 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A large fan-art statue of the hooded orc shaman who fights in the hero's army of the dead in a hit Korean web-novel and anime series. He has no legs: below the chest his robe turns into a column of glossy black tendrils that pours down into a ring of flames on broken rock. Both arms are flung out in a casting stance, a glass orb resting in his open right hand and a ball of fire in the clawed fingers of his left. His face sits deep in a pointed hood, with a heavy brow, small glowing eyes, an open mouth of pointed teeth and two long fangs curving up from the lower jaw, all crossed by sculpted line markings. A necklace of skulls with curved horn spikes hangs across his chest, a big horned beast skull sits on his right shoulder and a cluster of curling tendrils rises from his left. The wide sleeves end in flared cuffs that break into flame. The base is a large round plinth with an emblem of a hooded face at the front, topped with broken rock slabs and six separate flame pieces that rise all the way around him.

What's in the kit

  • 35 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 15 pieces: the face, the hooded torso in four sections, the robe column in five sections with its joining key, two arms with the flame cuffs and two hands.
  • Shoulders and necklace, 3 pieces: the horned beast skull for the right shoulder, the curling tendrils for the left shoulder and the skull necklace.
  • Magic, 2 pieces: the orb and the fireball.
  • Base, 11 pieces: the round plinth in four quarters, six flame pieces and the emblem disc.
  • Keys, 4 pieces: four joining keys for the plinth and body sections.
  • Studio size: 483.3 mm (19.03 in) tall, 400.5 mm (15.77 in) wide and 461.0 mm (18.15 in) deep for the assembled statue on its base (from Lion Realm's scale image of the model at 100%).
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • This is a very large statue. The torso comes in four sections and the robe column in five, with joining keys. Dry-fit the whole stack on the plinth before gluing.
  • Both arms reach far out from the shoulders with the orb and the fireball at the ends. Pin each shoulder and each wrist.
  • The plinth comes in four quarters that make one disc. Fill and sand the seams across its smooth black side.
  • The flame tips, robe tendrils, horn spikes, claws and the fireball's wisps are thin. Work out where each of the six flame pieces sits by dry-fitting before you glue.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
