IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 4 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

The miniature version of a fan-art diorama from a hugely popular hunter-and-dungeon anime: the same sculpt as the full diorama, with both figures on one base, made smaller and in only four pieces. The young hunter is in mid-leap at the top of the scene, body twisted, one arm raised back with a short hooked dagger and the other hand open and reaching forward, one leg tucked and the other stretched down to a spike of rock. He wears an everyday outfit: a blue hoodie with the sleeves pushed up and white drawstrings, its hem lifted by the leap, navy track pants and black sneakers with white laces, and his black fringe sweeps across his eyes. Below him stands his summoned knight in crimson plate armor with silver-white edging, a narrow visor with glowing eyes, a spiked crest and a long flowing plume, spiked pauldrons, a ragged ruff at the neck and chainmail at the knees. The knight holds a wide, notched greatsword engraved with runes low and out to the side, and his torn dark-red cape flares off behind him past the edge of the base. The base is a mound of broken, tilted rock slabs with jagged shards to one side and a column of smoke rising behind the hunter. In the miniature each figure is a single piece. The full 1:10 scale diorama and the busts are sold as separate listings.

What's in the kit

  • Figures, 2 pieces: the hunter as a single piece and the knight as a single piece.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the rubble and smoke base in two sections.
  • Miniature: 81 mm (3.19 in) tall, 78 × 76 mm (3.07 × 2.99 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Only four pieces: each figure is a single piece and the base comes in two sections. Join the two base sections first.
  • The hunter touches the scene with one foot and is otherwise in the air. That contact point is small; glue it firmly and let it cure before handling.
  • Thin parts: the dagger, the greatsword tip, the plume strands and the smoke edges. Remove supports from them slowly.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
