IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 10 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 10 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 6 pieces: head, torso in the hoodie, both legs in a single piece, the right forearm with the bandage, the right hand with the red dagger, and the left arm with the dark dagger.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the round plinth in two sections, and the rocks, boulder and flames in two more pieces.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 205.9 mm (8.11 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Plinth: 191.4 mm (7.54 in) wide in the sculptor's files; the largest base piece is wider, 207.2 mm (8.16 in).
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • I print the four base pieces and the legs hollow, so fill the small drain holes before priming.
  • The plinth comes in two sections. Line up the crack lines and the blue band across the seam.
  • The legs are a single piece standing on two points, the planted sneaker and the foot on the boulder. Seat both feet before the glue sets.
  • The extended arm is a long lever: pin the forearm at the sleeve and the dagger hand at the wrist. Both dagger blades are thin.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
