IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the horned, black-haired demon commander from a popular dark-fantasy anime, in her dark full plate with the helmet off. She strides forward on a square slab of cracked black rock with glowing lava running through every crack. One clawed gauntlet swings open at her side, and the other hand holds a long black haft low at her hip, so the heavy axe-headed blade trails behind her at the back corner of the base. White horns curl down from her temples, a single curled strand stands up from her crown, and her long black hair streams out to one side. She smiles wide, cheeks flushed. The armor is deep indigo plate with a silver-white breastplate, rounded charcoal pauldrons, a high dark collar with a thin green line, a V-shaped fauld, a riveted silver waist belt and a riveted belt slung across her hips with ragged panels hanging behind, plus segmented gauntlets with long claws, shield-shaped knee plates and pointed sabatons. Both heads are in the box, to swap as you like: her bare head with horns and hair, and a closed helm with a raised crest and wide horn blades over a studded gorget.

What's in the kit

  • 18 resin pieces in total.
  • Bare head, 5 pieces: the head, two horns, the front hair with the curled crown strand and the long back hair.
  • Helmet, 1 piece: the closed helm with its crest, horn blades and studded gorget, worn in place of the bare head, horns and hair.
  • Body, 9 pieces: the chest armor with both pauldrons, the waist with the V-shaped fauld, two arms (an open clawed gauntlet and a gripping hand), two legs, the riveted waist belt, and the slung hip belt in two halves with its hanging panels.
  • Polearm, 2 pieces: the haft, and the axe head with the lower haft.
  • Base, 1 piece: the square lava rock slab.
  • Tallest single piece: the long back hair, 119.6 mm (4.71 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Base: 131.7 × 129.7 mm (5.19 × 5.11 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The whole figure stands on two narrow, pointed sabatons. Pin both legs into the base.
  • The long back hair and the hip-belt panels hang out to one side. Pin the hair into the head, and dry-fit the two hip-belt halves around the hips before gluing.
  • The polearm comes in two sections that join on a smooth rod, so that seam needs filling and sanding. Fit it after the gripping arm is glued.
  • Thin parts: the gauntlet claws, the curled crown strand, the horn tips, the helm's horn blades and the ragged panel hems. The bare head and the helm fit the same neck, so dry-fit the one you want before gluing.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
