IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 29 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the horned, black-haired succubus from a popular dark-fantasy anime. She stands upright with her weight on one leg, one gloved hand raised to hold a black rose just under her chin, and she looks down at it with her head tilted; her other arm hangs at her side. White ram horns curve out from the sides of her head, her black hair is pinned up in a knot with a small silver comb, and a long lock falls over one gold eye. She wears drop earrings and a tall black collar with a small pendant. Her outfit is a black lace bodice over a cream corset with black cross-lacing and a lace-edged V hem, black elbow-length gloves with white lace bands at the wrists, a long black skirt with white lace and cords down a high side slit, black lace-topped stockings and black heels. A cape of layered black feathers falls from her shoulders past her knees, and the skirt's train sweeps out to one side. The base is a round drum with a carved scrollwork rim, a top of cracked white and gray marble slabs, and a broken fluted pillar with rubble at its foot.

What's in the kit

  • 29 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 16 pieces: head, collar pendant, neck and shoulders, the bodice in two pieces, the corset, two arms, two wrist cuffs, two hands (the left one holds the rose), two legs and two heels.
  • Hair and horns, 6 pieces: the hair in three sections, the hair comb and two horns.
  • Cape and skirt, 4 pieces: the feathered cape in two halves and the long skirt in two halves.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the round marble-topped base and the broken pillar.
  • Rose, 1 piece: the black rose on its stem.
  • Round base: 176.2 mm (6.94 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Largest single piece: one skirt half, 177.9 mm (7.00 in) at its longest in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The skirt comes as two large curved halves that close around the legs, with the train sweeping out to one side. Dry-fit both halves around the legs before gluing, and plan to fill the seam.
  • The cape is two heavy feathered halves that hang from the shoulders and meet down the center of the back. Pin both at the shoulder.
  • The skirt train drapes over the pillar side of the base, so set the pillar against the finished skirt before you glue it down.
  • Small, thin parts: the collar pendant, the hair comb, the wrist cuffs, the horns and the rose stem.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
