IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 20 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head, mask, collar, torso, hair, two arms and two legs with the boots.
  • Coat, 7 pieces: the coat in three sections and four torn streamers.
  • Revolvers, 2 pieces.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the rock slab and the rocket with its exhaust trail.
  • Studio size: 237 mm (9.33 in) tall, 187 × 142 mm (7.36 × 5.59 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She stands on one boot. Pin the standing leg into the rock slab; it carries the whole figure.
  • The hair is a large piece that hangs off a small head. Pin it, and dry-fit it against the coat collar before gluing.
  • The coat tails and the four streamers reach out on their own. Pin each one at its join.
  • The rocket's exhaust trail passes behind the standing leg, so fit the rocket before or with the leg. The mask cords, revolver barrels and streamer edges are thin.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
