IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 22 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the dark-haired military officer and fire-wielding alchemist from a famous fantasy anime, caught at the instant he snaps his fingers. He stands square with his weight on both feet, his right arm thrown straight out at shoulder height with the fingers pinched for the snap, and his left arm hanging at his side with the gloved fist clenched. Lightning bursts from the snapping hand, forks back across his chest and arcs down behind him to the ground. His navy military coat is worn over his shoulders like a cape, both sleeves empty and blown out behind him, with a braided cord looped from one shoulder, and its long tails sweep out to one side. Under it he wears a white collared shirt with the sleeves pushed to the elbows, a wide belt, dark trousers and boots, and white gloves with a circle design on the back of the left hand. His black hair falls across his forehead and his face is stern, brow down, eyes on the outstretched hand. The base is a slab of cracked rock with loose shards, ringed by seven spiked smoke bursts, with the lightning reaching out past it on both sides. What's in the kit

  • 22 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head, front hair, torso with the belt, two arms (the outstretched snapping arm and the hanging arm with the clenched fist), two legs and two boots.
  • Coat, 2 pieces: the coat shoulders with both empty sleeves and the braided cord, and the long coat tails.
  • Effects, 10 pieces: three branching lightning pieces and seven spiked smoke bursts.
  • Base, 1 piece: the cracked rock slab.
  • Full size: 176 mm (6.93 in) tall, 168 × 149 mm (6.61 × 5.87 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The three lightning pieces are long, thin and branching, and they bridge from the outstretched hand down to the rock. Dry-fit them before gluing and pin them at the hand and at the base.
  • The seven smoke bursts aren't labeled by position. Lay them out against the photos before gluing them around the base.
  • The coat shoulders sit over the torso and the coat tails hang out to one side as a large, thin drape. Fit the coat before the head and hair.
  • Thin parts: the lightning tips, the spikes on every smoke burst, the snapping fingers and the front hair.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
