IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 17 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the black-haired pirate queen from a famous anime pirate series. She sits sideways in the coils of a huge white snake with red heart-shaped spots, her fingers resting at her chin and one long leg reaching down to the base in a red heel. The snake's head rises beside her, crowned with a horned skull and a shaggy blue mane. The base is a round two-tier plinth with a wooden plank top and a red heart crest at the front and the back.

What's in the kit

  • 17 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 7 pieces: head, fringe, torso, two arms and two legs.
  • Snake, 4 pieces: the coil she sits on, two body sections and the head with the horned skull.
  • Cloth, 2 pieces: the long coat tail and a small drape.
  • Base, 4 pieces: the base in two halves and the two heart crests.
  • Tallest single piece: the long coat tail, 163.6 mm (6.44 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once she is seated on the snake and the base. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The snake comes in four sections that wrap under, behind and around her. Dry-fit the whole loop before you glue anything.
  • She sits on the snake's coil, so pin her seat into the coil and the coil into the base.
  • The base comes in two halves that join across the plank top. Glue and fill that seam first.
  • The fringe, fingers, forked tongue and skull horns are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
