IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 26 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

Two complete fan-art figures of the demon noblewoman from a hit Korean action fantasy series, one in each outfit, each on its own base. In both she stands with her feet close together on a slab of broken brick paving, one arm folded across her chest and the other hand resting on her thigh, her very long plum-violet hair blown out to one side past her hips. Pointed ears stick out through the hair under a blunt fringe, and her red eyes have thin red marks below them. She wears a high-collared glossy black bodysuit edged in crimson piping. The armored figure adds gunmetal plates at the waist, hips, thighs and knees, greaves with spiked cuffs, clawed gauntlets and a long black cloth panel hanging from the waist, and it comes with two faces to swap: round eyes with parted lips, or narrow eyes with dark liner and two small fangs. The plain figure is the bodysuit alone with black gloves and the round-eyed face. Small black tendrils curl up around the edges of each paving base.

What's in the kit

  • 26 resin pieces in total.
  • Armored figure, 11 pieces: torso, legs with the hip and thigh armor, two faces (round-eyed and fanged), main hair, a separate hair lock, two clawed gauntlet hands, two knee plates and the cloth panel.
  • Armored figure's base, 5 pieces: the brick paving slab and four small black tendril clusters.
  • Plain bodysuit figure, 5 pieces: torso, legs, the round-eyed face, main hair and the separate hair lock.
  • Plain figure's base, 5 pieces: the brick paving slab and four small black tendril clusters.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 120.4 mm (4.74 in) in the sculptor's file for the armored figure and 98.4 mm (3.87 in) for the plain bodysuit figure. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Each figure's brick paving base: 97.8 × 90.3 mm (3.85 × 3.56 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The main hair is a large piece that hangs off the back of the head and sweeps far out to one side. Pin it on both figures.
  • On the armored figure the knee plates, the small gauntlet hand and the tendril clusters are tiny, and the cloth panel is a thin sheet that hangs from a single join at the waist.
  • On the plain figure the waist join sits on smooth glossy suit with nothing over it, so fill and sand that seam carefully.
  • Each face fits onto the front of the head; the fringe and side locks cover most of that seam. The armored figure's two faces fit the same head, so dry-fit the one you want before gluing.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
