Anime Sleeping Elf Mage Resin Garage Kit – Giant Cooking Pot of Vegetables, Twisted Staff & Star Cloud Base (Unpainted, 1:10 Scale, 20 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art scene of the blonde elf mage from a popular fantasy cooking anime, fast asleep in the cooking pot. She lies on her side with her knees drawn up, hugging a fat pink sea-monster tentacle like a pillow, her cheek resting on it and a small smile on her face. Her long blonde hair is braided back over the crown, tied with a small red band, and spills out behind her across the pot; her elf ears are pointed. She wears her long navy dress with a brown belt and a flap pouch at the hip, loose cropped trousers and strap sandals, and her twisted wooden staff with a looped head leans across her side down to the cloud. The big black iron pot stands tipped up behind her with cloth-wrapped handles, packed with food: a fan of red-edged petals behind her head, broad green leaves over two sleeping root creatures, pale green rosettes and two halved red fruits. It all rests on a white cloud set with yellow stars and a rainbow shooting-star trail. This listing is the 1:10 scale scene in 20 pieces. The miniature is sold as a separate listing.
What's in the kit
- 20 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: head, front hair with the braid, back hair, torso with the arms, the dress skirt and trousers, two hands and two feet.
- Creatures, 3 pieces: the tentacle and the two root creatures with their leaves.
- Pot, 4 pieces: three shell sections and the food layer.
- Cloud base, 3 pieces: two halves and the star trail.
- Staff, 1 piece: the twisted staff.
- 1:10 scale: 186 mm (7.32 in) tall, 93 × 170 mm (3.66 × 6.69 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
- Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- In the 1:10 kit the pot comes as three shell sections that meet on the smooth black outside of the pot, the most visible surface from the back. Plan to fill and sand those two seams.
- The staff is a long, thin shaft that leans against her side and reaches down to the cloud. Pin it rather than relying on glue alone.
- Both hands are tiny separate parts that glue where she grips the tentacle. Fit them with tweezers after the figure is seated in the pot.
- The leaves hang off the pot rim and the star trail arcs out over nothing; hold them while the glue cures. The hair tips and sandal straps are thin.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
