IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 28 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the striped demon martial artist from a hit demon-hunting anime. He lunges forward out of a ring of blue flame with his right knee driven up, his right fist cocked back at shoulder height and his left hand thrust out with the fingers spread like claws. He has crimson spiky hair, gold eyes, and indigo stripe markings across his face, chest, arms and hands. He wears a sleeveless crimson vest hanging open over his bare chest, loose pale woven trousers gathered below the knee, a twisted green rope belt with red tassels, and red bead anklets, and he is barefoot. The base is a pile of cracked boulders carved with glowing symbols, wrapped in broad sheets of blue flame that sweep up into a tall wave behind him, with lilac smoke curling across the front. Both heads are in the box, a snarl with bared teeth and a wide grin, so you can swap them as you like, and two optional jagged energy bursts fit over his hands.

What's in the kit

  • 28 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 8 pieces: two heads (a snarl with brows down and teeth bared, and a wide, easy grin), torso with the open vest, legs, two arms and two bare feet.
  • Hand effects, 2 pieces: a jagged energy burst for each hand (optional).
  • Base, 18 pieces: the rock pile and flame ring in 16 sections, and two plugs.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 112.5 mm (4.43 in) in the sculptor's file. The figure stands well above the base once built. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Base: 269.5 × 256.8 mm (10.61 × 10.11 in) across and 235.6 mm (9.28 in) tall including the flame ring, from the sculptor's single-piece file of the same base.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The base comes in 16 sections plus two plugs, with seams through the rocks and across the flame sheets. Dry-fit the whole base before gluing anything, then fill and sand.
  • He leans out past the front of the base, and everything above is carried through the two separate feet. Pin the ankles and pin the feet into the rocks, and build from the base up so you can check the lean before the glue sets.
  • The outstretched left arm and the hand effects are long levers on small joins. Pin them. Pin the head too; left unglued, the two heads swap.
  • Thin parts: the flame edges, the spiky rims of the hand effects, the clawed fingers and the hair spikes. Three base pieces are tiny and easy to lose.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
