IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 8 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art bust of the tired-eyed defense lawyer turned fighter from a hit dark-fantasy anime about curses. It takes him from the hips up on a round cracked-stone pedestal: an open suit jacket with a woven texture and a small lapel pin, a shirt open at the collar with no tie and a belt, his left hand in his trouser pocket and his right arm raised across his chest with the index finger pointing. His dark spiky hair is swept up and back and his heavy-lidded eyes look off to the side. Both weapons come in the kit, held in the raised hand: a long glowing sword with a small cross mark at the hilt, slanting up past his shoulder, and a wooden gavel with a cross carved into its head, resting against his cheek. The studio shows the bust as unpainted gray renders, one with each weapon. This listing is the bust, 8 pieces. The full figure with the hooded judge spirit and the courtroom base is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 8 resin pieces in total.
  • Bust, 5 pieces: head, the raised-arm torso, the hip section, the left arm and the pointing right arm.
  • Weapons, 2 pieces: the glowing sword and the gavel.
  • Base, 1 piece: the round cracked-stone pedestal.
  • The sculptor doesn't publish the bust's height, so I don't list one. The round pedestal is 75.3 × 75.0 mm (2.96 × 2.95 in) across in the sculptor's file.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The pointing finger on the right arm is a thin, freestanding part. Support it carefully and fit it late.
  • The glowing sword is long and thin; a glaze and gloss coat give it the glow. Choose the sword or the gavel before gluing the hand.
  • Thin parts: the spiky hair tips, the sword point and the gavel handle.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
