IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 20 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the twin-pistol mercenary from a gritty action anime about seafaring mercenaries. She is caught mid-turn, one arm thrown straight out to the side with a pistol and the other tucked in at chest height with a second pistol aimed forward, her weight on one leg and the other boot up on a chained crate while her ponytail whips out behind her. She has dark plum hair in a high ponytail with a long split fringe, amber eyes, a small smirk and a tribal tattoo sculpted down one shoulder and upper arm. She wears a black ribbed crop tank, a brown leather twin shoulder holster with brass rivets, frayed denim cut-off shorts with two belts, fingerless gloves and black lace-up combat boots. The base is a stretch of wooden dock: a plank slab with bollard stumps and coiled rope, two tall mooring posts, an upright rusted drum, a drum on its side wrapped in chain and an X-braced crate.

What's in the kit

  • 20 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: head in three pieces including the ponytail, torso with the holster, midriff, shorts, two arms, two legs and two boots.
  • Pistols, 2 pieces.
  • Base, 6 pieces: the dock slab, two mooring posts, two drums and the crate.
  • Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
  • Tallest single piece: a mooring post from the base, 139.6 mm (5.50 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Dock slab: 155.2 × 175.5 mm (6.11 × 6.91 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The six base pieces have to line up so the raised boot lands on the crate. Dry-fit the whole base before glue.
  • The midriff piece joins the torso and the shorts on bare skin, and the legs meet the shorts at the thigh. Plan to fill and sand those seams.
  • The outstretched arm with a pistol at its end is a long lever, and the raised leg reaches out to the crate. Pin both.
  • The two pistols are small with thin barrels, and the ponytail piece hangs free behind the head.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
