IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 11 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

What's in the kit

  • 11 resin pieces in total.
  • White-haired elf, 5 pieces: head with hair, torso with capelet, two arms with the staff on one, and the skirt with legs.
  • Blonde elf, 4 pieces: head with hair, torso with the backpack and left arm, right arm with the rope staff, and the robe with legs.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the flagstone base and the travel trunk.
  • Miniature: 75 mm (2.95 in) tall, 73 × 80 mm (2.87 × 3.15 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Glue the trunk onto the flagstone base first, then seat the white-haired elf on it and stand the blonde elf behind her. Dry-fit both figures together before gluing.
  • Both staffs are very thin at this size: the white-haired elf's staff is part of her right arm, and the blonde elf's rope staff is part of her right arm and reaches out past the base. Handle them gently.
  • The white-haired elf's left arm is tiny. Fit it with tweezers.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
