IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 18 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the magenta-haired villain from a famous monster-catching anime, with her purple cobra partner. She sits cross-legged on the cobra's thick coils, one gloved hand on her knee and a small red ball raised in the other, her long hair sweeping down behind her. The cobra's hood rises at her back with an open fanged mouth and a bold eye pattern, a round blue creature salutes at her side, and a small blue frog sits among the flowers. She wears a white cropped uniform top with a red letter emblem, a short white skirt, long black gloves and glossy black thigh-high boots. The base is a mossy rock mound with a large daisy, set on a black-and-white ring with a matching red letter medallion at the front.

What's in the kit

  • 18 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 10 pieces: head, hair in two pieces, torso, waist, skirt, two arms (one holding the small ball) and two legs.
  • Cobra, 4 pieces: the cobra's body in four sections, including the hooded head.
  • Companions, 2 pieces: the saluting blue creature and the small blue frog.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the black-and-white ring with the medallion, and the flowered rock mound.
  • Tallest single piece: the largest cobra section, 139.2 mm (5.48 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished piece stands taller once the base and the coils are stacked. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Base: the ring is 161.9 × 172.5 mm (6.37 × 6.79 in) across in the sculptor's file.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She sits on the cobra's biggest coil, and the hooded head stands up behind her with a forward lean. Pin both into the parts below them.
  • The ring and the rock mound decide where the coils land. Dry-fit the whole stack before you glue anything.
  • The joins at the waist run through bare midriff and the top of the skirt, where seams show. Fill and sand them smooth.
  • The small hair curl, the frog and the flower petals are small and thin.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
