IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 8 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art bust of the white-haired elf mage from a popular fantasy anime, cut from the studio's two-elf crossover scene. Her long twin tails sweep out to either side, her bangs fall over a calm face, and she wears a high-collared coat under a capelet with a gold edge. In the studio's painted design her hair is pale lilac-white, her eyes are green and she wears red teardrop earrings with a white coat and capelet. The bust stands on a square stepped plinth.

This listing is the bust, 79 mm tall on the studio's bust sheet. The full 1:10 scene, the miniature and the blonde elf's bust are sold as separate listings.

What's in the kit

  • 8 resin pieces in total.
  • Bust, 6 pieces: head, bangs, two twin tails, torso and capelet.
  • Plinths, 2 pieces: two plinths (alternate stands), one smaller and one larger.
  • Bust: 79 mm (3.11 in) tall (from the studio's bust sheet, which gives the height only).

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • The bangs seat in a square socket on top of the head, and the head sits on a square peg on the capelet. Dry-fit both before gluing.
  • The twin tails are thin and trail out to the sides. Fit them last and pin them if the joins feel loose.
  • Glue the bust onto the plinth's post square so it doesn't lean.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
