Anime Sword Maid Resin Garage Kit – White Hair, Lace-Up Thigh Boots & Oval Cobblestone Base (Unpainted, 23 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 23 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the white-haired sword maid from a fantasy anime about a prince who studies magic. She drops into a low, wide lunge on an oval cobblestone slab, front knee bent and back leg stretched out behind her, with both hands pulled in to one hip around the grip of a sheathed sword, as if about to draw. Her very long hair streams out behind her in loose ropes, and a frilled maid headdress sits across the crown. She wears a white blouse with a ruffled collar and frilled cuffs, a blue-violet vest with a wide corset sash, a short dark skirt with a torn hem, a white ruffled apron with a large bow at the back, and lace-up thigh-high boots with rows of eyelets and small bows. The base is a flat oval of irregular paving stones.
What's in the kit
- 23 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 13 pieces: head, front hair, back hair, headdress, torso in the blouse and vest, the hips and upper legs in three pieces, two lower legs in the lace-up boots, two arms and a hand.
- Clothing, 8 pieces: skirt, apron, apron bow, two sleeve cuffs and three small bows.
- Sword, 1 piece: the sheathed sword with the hand that grips it.
- Base, 1 piece: the oval cobblestone slab.
- Tallest single piece: the back hair, 92.0 mm (3.62 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Oval base: 133.8 × 180.0 mm (5.27 × 7.09 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: about 1:10 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:10 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- Both hands meet at the sword grip at her hip, so the arm chain has to line up exactly. Dry-fit the arms, the hand and the sword together before gluing.
- The long back hair hangs out behind her. Pin it to the head.
- The three small bows and the two sleeve cuffs are tiny. Keep them on a tray, and expect seams on the white sleeves to need filling.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
