IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 29 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the horned, black-haired succubus from a popular dark-fantasy anime. She sits sideways on the curved rail of a marble balustrade at the top of a short staircase, one leg crossed over the other and her bare feet hanging over the landing. One gloved hand is braced on the rail and the other raises a goblet of wine, while she turns her head back over her shoulder. Two large black feathered wings spread around her, one rising above her head and the other dropping past the landing. Ivory horns curve forward around her temples and her very long hair falls past the rail. She wears a white off-the-shoulder gown with a gold lattice over the bodice, a gold neckband with a square green gem, tiers of ruffles over the rail, a long sash at the back and white opera gloves with ruffled cuffs. The base is a curving white marble staircase with a crimson runner, gold borders and brass stair rods, a banister with a gold handrail, and a landing with three balusters that carry the arched rail she sits on. Two kicked-off sandals lie on the steps, a loose black feather lies on the bottom step, and a small chibi doll of a skull-faced sorcerer in a hooded robe sits in an opening under the landing.

What's in the kit

  • 29 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 12 pieces: torso, waist, lower legs, the long skirt, the sash tail, the head and hair in two halves, the front hair locks, two horns, the hand braced on the rail and the hand holding the goblet.
  • Wings, 4 pieces: each wing in two sections.
  • Base, 9 pieces: the staircase, landing and curved rail in six sections, and the three balusters.
  • Accessories, 4 pieces: two sandals, the loose feather and the small chibi doll.
  • Studio size: 1:6 scale, 358 mm (14.09 in) tall, 208 mm (8.19 in) wide and 273 mm (10.75 in) deep (from Tanuki Figures' printing and scale guide).
  • Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • Build the base first: the staircase sections, then the three balusters, then the curved rail on top. She sits on that rail with one hand braced on it, so it has to be level and glued solid before the figure goes on.
  • The wings come in four large sections that hang off her back, and the right wing reaches down past the landing. Pin every wing join.
  • The head and hair come in two halves, with a seam that runs the full length of the hair. Plan to fill and sand it.
  • Thin parts: the horns, the sash tail, the loose feather, the sandal straps, the goblet rim with its wine splash, and the long wing feathers.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
