IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 11 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art statue of the capoeira fighter from a long-running 3D fighting game series. She balances on one bare foot with her other knee raised, one arm curved over her head and the other reaching out to her side. She wears a gold halter top, fingerless gloves with feather trim and flared pants sculpted all over in overlapping scales. Her long brown hair is tied up in a high ponytail. The base is a round stone planter with a twisted tree stump, roots spilling over the rim and sprigs of leaves.

What's in the kit

  • 11 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 9 pieces: head in three pieces, torso, two arms, the legs as a single piece and two hanging hip cords.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the planter base in two halves.
  • Tallest single piece: the legs, 212.1 mm (8.35 in) in the sculptor's file. The finished figure stands taller once the torso, head and base are added. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
  • Scale: about 1:6 (estimated). The sculptor doesn't publish a scale, so this is my estimate of the closest standard scale based on the model's measurements. It may not look in scale next to other 1:6 figures, and scale can differ from one creator to another.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: advanced

  • She stands on one bare foot, and both legs are a single piece. Pin the foot into the base and check she stands straight before you add the upper body.
  • The base comes in two halves. Glue and fill that seam first; it runs across the stone wall and the rim.
  • The two hip cords are very thin. Glue them on last.
  • The spread fingers and the wrist feathers are thin and delicate.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
