Cartoon Acrobat Girl Resin Garage Kit – One-Leg Balance, Long Braid & Red Pennant Stage (Unpainted, 15 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 15 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the cheerful circus acrobat from a well-known animated fantasy series. She balances on one leg with the other folded up behind her, one arm arched over her head and the other reaching out to the side, while her long braid swings out the opposite way. She has a short fringe, large amber-brown eyes and a small closed-mouth smile, and her long brown braid is tied with red bands at the top and the tip. She wears a dusty pink cropped top with cap sleeves and a raised collar, a dark red pointed collar-cape with a small flame emblem, a dark red sash with flaps at the front and long tails at the back, full pink trousers cuffed below the knee, red wristbands and flat brown strap shoes. The base is a round two-tier stage: a dark stepped ring under a drum of wood planking with grey stone pillars and red curtain swags trimmed in gold rope, topped with red cloth and a flame emblem. Three wooden poles lashed with rope rise from the stage, each hanging a red pennant with a gold border and a flame emblem.
What's in the kit
- 15 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 10 pieces: head, hair in two pieces including the long braid, top, midriff, two arms, hips and trousers in a single piece and two lower legs with shoes.
- Base, 5 pieces: the stage in two tiers and three pennant poles.
- Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
- Tallest single piece: a pennant pole, 145.3 mm (5.72 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Stage base: 133.1 × 133.1 mm (5.24 × 5.24 in) across in the sculptor's file.
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The whole figure stands on one lower leg and one shoe. Pin it into the trousers and through the shoe into the base; glue alone won't hold.
- The folded-up leg and the long braid both hang free. Pin them at the knee and at the hair tie.
- The midriff piece joins the top and the sash on smooth, visible areas. Plan to fill and sand both seams.
- The three pennant poles are long and thin, and the extended hand has spread fingers.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
