Chibi Blond Barbarian Hero Resin Garage Kit – Raised Sword, Skull-Faced Castle, Round Shield & Crystal Rock Base (Unpainted, 14 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 14 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the blond barbarian hero from a classic 1980s cartoon and toy line, shouting with his sword raised. He stands with his feet planted wide on a raised rock, his right arm straight up gripping the sword with the blade pointed at the sky, and his left arm bent out to the side with the fist clenched. His blond hair is a blunt pageboy bob with a chunky fringe, his brows are drawn down hard over big blue eyes, and his mouth is wide open in a shout. He wears a steel-gray chest harness with a red flared cross and a domed red boss, a riveted steel band and dark red shoulder straps, a gray sheath on his back, a wide gold studded belt over a short orange-brown fur loincloth, gold studded wrist bands, and rust-brown boots with fur cuffs. The sword has a ridged steel blade, a crossguard that curls up into ball-tipped prongs and a leather-wrapped grip. The base is a pale gray rocky outcrop with pebbles and clusters of teal crystals. Beside him stands a small mossy green castle with a big skull face, fanged plank door and round towers, and a round red-and-steel shield leans against the front of the rock.
What's in the kit
- 14 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: the head, the blond hair, the chest with the harness and cross, the waist with the belt and fur loincloth, the raised right arm, the right fist with the sword, the bent left arm, and two legs with boots.
- Accessory, 1 piece: the sheath worn on the back.
- Base, 4 pieces: two rock sections, the skull-faced castle and the round shield.
- Height: 201.0 mm (7.91 in) tall on its base, measured from the sculptor's single-piece file of the finished figure.
- Tallest single piece: the fist with the sword, 79.4 mm (3.13 in) in the sculptor's file.
- Main rock base: 108.4 × 97.5 mm (4.27 × 3.84 in) across in the sculptor's file; the single-piece file of the whole statue is 113.4 × 103.2 mm (4.46 × 4.06 in) across.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: intermediate
- The head and hair are about half the figure's resin and sit on two legs. Pin the head to the torso and both boots to the rock.
- The raised sword arm is a long lever with the sword on the end. Pin the sword fist to the arm.
- The sword blade is thin, and the crossguard's ball-tipped prongs are small.
- The two rock sections and the castle have to line up so the boots land flat and the castle sits snug. Dry-fit before gluing.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
