IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 9 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art chibi of the hooded, web-swinging masked heroine from American superhero comics, balanced on one hand on a rooftop chimney. Her left hand is planted flat on the cracked stone cap with the arm straight, her body tilts forward over it, and her legs swing out to one side, one stretched out and one bent. Her right arm reaches up and forward in a web-shooting gesture, with a short white web strand curling up from the wrist. Her face is a smooth white mask with two large tilted eye lenses in thick magenta rims, framed by a white hood that rises to a soft point at the back and is lined in magenta with dark web lines. Her suit is charcoal gray with a fine honeycomb texture, with white panels at the chest, collar, back and hips, white arms, a magenta web-lined panel down one side, and teal ballet flats with straps crossing over the foot and ankle. The chimney is a square stack of dark brown and terracotta bricks with a thick gray stone cap, beside a smaller stack with two metal pipes. It stands in a heaped cream cloud bursting out of the roof, with chunks of brick wall, loose bricks and splintered boards flying out, and a plume of cloud sweeps up behind her to a point past her shoulder.

What's in the kit

  • 9 resin pieces in total.
  • Figure, 7 pieces: the masked head, the hood, the body and legs, the raised right arm, two feet in strapped shoes, and the web strand.
  • Base, 2 pieces: the lower cloud, and the chimney section with the rest of the cloud and the rising plume.
  • Tallest single piece: the chimney section with the rising plume, 185.7 mm (7.31 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
  • Lower cloud base: 124.8 × 123.2 mm (4.91 × 4.85 in) across in the sculptor's file.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The whole figure, with the heavy head and hood at the top, stands on one planted hand on the chimney cap. Pin the hand into the cap.
  • The plume rises behind her close to the hood. Dry-fit the figure on the base and glue the hand and any contact with the plume together.
  • The web strand is tiny and thin; it goes into the raised hand last.
  • The two base sections are large; dry-fit them before gluing, and fill the seam through the cloud.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.

Shipping and returns

  • Free shipping to addresses in the 50 US states, Washington, DC, and military APO/FPO addresses.
  • International or US territory address? You can use a US package forwarding service. My responsibility ends when the package is delivered to the forwarder’s US address. Anything after that is between you and the forwarding service.
  • 30-day free returns. If the kit isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unassembled and unsanded, and I'll send you a prepaid return label.
