Chibi Red-Masked Turtle Warrior Resin Garage Kit – Twin Sais, Rooftop Vent Unit, Duct Pipes & Pavement Base (Unpainted, 16 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 16 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art chibi of the red-masked, sai-wielding turtle hero from a famous American comic and cartoon franchise, crouched in a wide fighting stance and snarling. His right foot is planted on top of a battered rooftop vent unit and his left steps down onto a black duct elbow, so he stands at two heights. One sai is drawn back high behind him and the other is held low in a reverse grip in front of his belt. The big round head wears a ragged red mask tied at the back, with two long torn tails twisting up above it, narrowed eyes and a wide clenched grin. He has a yellow front shell plate, a gray-green back shell, a brown cloth belt knotted at the front, ribbed knee and elbow pads, red bands on the upper arms, and cream bandage wraps on his forearms, fists, shins and feet. The base is a dented metal vent unit with louvered panels, brass trim and hex bolts on a stepped plinth, with a duct elbow, a thin looping pipe and a small screw-plated box, all on a slab of cracked pavement.
What's in the kit
- 16 resin pieces in total.
- Figure, 9 pieces: the head with the mask band, the mask knot with its two tails, the torso with both shells and the belt, two arms, two wrapped fists and two legs.
- Weapons, 2 pieces: two sais.
- Base, 5 pieces: the vent unit on its stepped plinth, the large duct elbow, the thin looping pipe, the small box with screws, and the cracked pavement slab.
- Tallest single piece: the torso with its shell, 64.8 mm (2.55 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height or scale, so I don't list one.
- Pavement slab: 180.4 × 167.3 mm (7.10 × 6.59 in) across in the sculptor's file.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The sais are very thin, with fragile side prongs and tips. Fit them last.
- One foot stands on the vent unit and the other on the separate duct elbow. Dry-fit the base parts with both legs and the torso before gluing anything.
- The head is the heaviest part and sits on a small body. Pin the neck and pin both feet into the base. I print it hollow, so fill the small drain holes before priming.
- The shoulder joins sit on smooth green skin, so expect seams to fill and sand there.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
