Comic Book Web-Suit Heroine Resin Garage Kit – Web Strands, Gargoyle Pillar & Smoke Base, Mask-Up and Mask-Down Heads Included (Unpainted, 26 Pieces)
Printed to order. This listing shows as sold out until the next print run is ready. Tap Notify me and leave your email, and I'll let you know when it's in stock. No pre-orders and nothing to pay up front. How it works
IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.
The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 26 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:
- Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
- Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
- Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
- Unpainted: all painting is up to you.
Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.
This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.
A fan-art statue of the web-slinging heroine from a famous comic-book universe. She crouches on a broken stone pillar with one knee down on top and the other foot planted in a billow of smoke, one fist raised overhead and the other hand reaching out, while web strands loop from both hands, around behind her long streaming black hair and down to the gargoyle at the front of the base. Her black bodysuit has a fine mesh texture with raised white panels: a web-patterned panel over the chest and hips, zigzag stripes on the shoulders and hips, and a web panel and chevron across the back. She wears fingerless black gloves and black shoes with white soles. Both heads are in the box, so you can swap them as you like: a red mask pulled up over her nose, or the mask pulled down as a scarf around her neck with the full face showing. The base is a rooftop scene in dark stone: an angled slab of carved masonry with a scrollwork border, a column stub with a crouching winged gargoyle, loose rock and the pile of smoke.
What's in the kit
- 26 resin pieces in total. Both heads are in the box.
- Figure, 6 pieces: torso with both arms, the hips and legs, two foot pieces and two hands.
- Mask-up head, 3 pieces: the head, the red mask pulled up over the nose and mouth, and the hair.
- Mask-down head, 3 pieces: a full-face head, the mask worn as a scarf around the neck, and a matching hair piece.
- Web strands, 5 pieces.
- Base, 9 pieces: the rock base in two pieces, the pillar in three pieces, a loose rock, the gargoyle in two pieces and the smoke.
- Studio scale: 1:6 (from 3DMoon's store page for this model).
- Tallest single piece: the longest web strand, 138.9 mm (5.47 in) in the sculptor's file. The sculptor doesn't publish an assembled height, so I don't list one.
- Bottom rock base piece: 125.6 × 134.4 mm (4.94 × 5.29 in) across in the sculptor's file. The smoke and the gargoyle column add to the footprint.
- Scale: 1:6 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.
About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.
Skill level: advanced
- The five web strands are cord-thin, one of them 125 mm long, and at least one bridges from the figure to the base. Pin them with wire and fit them last.
- The base is nine pieces. Build it first, since her knee lands on the pillar and her foot in the smoke.
- The hair streams away from the head as a separate hanging piece. Pin it.
- The hands are small, with exposed fingers, and the smoke tapers to thin wisps.
- Both heads are in the kit, each with its own mask and hair piece. Leave the neck joint unglued (a pin holds it) if you want to swap them later.
You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
